As Hawaii's first golf course built in 1898 by Samuel Mills Damon Moanalua Golf Club has the distinction of being the "Royal and Ancient" home of golf in Hawaii. Mr. Damon wanted golf at Moanalua to be available to people of all walks of life regardless of economic or social standing. At Moanalua Golf Club we continue to uphold Mr. Damon's vision by offering a challenging well maintained golf course that has kept membership programs affordable for everyone to enjoy. While privately owned by the members, Moanalua Golf Club continues the tradition of welcoming the public to enjoy Hawaii's oldest golf course. 

Moanalua Golf Club was originally established as an 18 hole golf course meandering through the valley and along the slopes of Moanalua where the Moanalua Stream crisscrosses through the course creating beautiful natural hazards.
In 1908 Moanalua Golf Club was shortened to its current 9 hole three thousand yard layout. Moanalua Golf Club's signature hole is the 213 yard eighth hole which features nearly 100 feet of elevation change, and provides golfers with breathtaking views of the Honolulu skyline as well as Diamond Head Crater.
